How to change the amount of virtual memory setting in windows Xp

Virtual memory optimization when done correctly can improve system performance.

To change the virtual memory settings do the following:

Right click My computer and then select properties.

Go to the advanced tab.

Under the performance options, Click the settings tab. The performance options window will open.

In the performance options window go to the advanced tab and then under Virtual memory click the change button. The virtual memory window will open.

Set the virtual memory and then click the ok button.
