How to defragment the drive in windows Xp

Defragmenting a drive in windows will help improve the performance of the computer and gives faster access to files.
It is recommended that you format your drive at least once per month.
To defragment a drive, just right-click the drive and select properties.
Go to the tools tab and click on the defragment button.
The disk defragmenter application will open up.
Select the drive you want to drive and click the defragment button.
You can also click the analyze button to know whether the drive needs to be defragmented.
