Disable system restore in a particular drive
System restore is a very good service in windows. But it takes a lot of memory (to about 10%) of your hard disk space. How ever it is recommended to have system restore to be turned on in case of your primary drive (mostly c) in order to make sure that your OS files could be easily repaired in case of a problem.
If you do not wish to restore anything in a particular drive you can disable system restore in that drive.
To disable system restore in a drive:
Right click on the “My Computer” and select properties.
Go to the system restore tab.
High light the drive in which you want to disable system restore and click settings.
