How to safely remove Removable disks from the USB port in Windows


When you insert a USB or any removable storage device in your computer, you will be able to find a small green colored arrow icon on your task bar.

Juts double click it and you will be able to open a new window “Safely remove hardware”.

In this window select the item to be removed safely and then press or click the stop button.

Then you will get a “stop a hardware device “window. Just select the device to be removed and click ok button.

If the device is removed successfully you will be able to see a popup at the bottom.

Then you can remove it from the USB drive.
