Adjusting Windows Xp for the best performance

If you are a windows user who would like it to run with a better performance and if you are not interested in its visual styles then you should try disabling visual styles and graphics in windows.

These visual styles may attract your eyes but may cause a performance drawback.
You can adjust Windows Xp to the best performance by following the steps give below:

Right click My computer and the select properties.

In the system properties dialog, navigate to the advanced tab and then under performance click the settings button.

Now under Performance options dialog , under the visual styles tab select the radio button “Adjust for Best Performance”.

Click the apply button.

If you want certain styles you can also select the respective ones under the custom group box.
