How to password protect my files and folders in Windows XP?
Just encrypt all your files which you don’t want others to see in Windows XP.
1. Select the folder you wish to encrypt.
2. Right-click the folder and click Properties.
3. Click the Advanced button.
4. Check "Encrypt contents to secure data" option.
5. Click Apply and then Ok.
Now other users won’t be able to open these files, unless they access the system from your user account. Use with caution.
